Position Overview: We seek dedicated and vigilant individuals to join our team as Event Security Officers at Goodwood events in Chichester, West Sussex. In addition to maintaining a safe and secure environment, Event Security Officers enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security threats or breaches.
• Provide assistance and guidance to event attendees, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.
• Conduct bag checks and screening procedures in accordance with company protocols.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Collaborate with event organisers, fellow security personnel, and local authorities to ensure a coordinated security effort.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ideally, have your own transportation.
